Please Note: Eurovignette will definitely stop on 1 July 2026 in the Netherlands

On 1 July 2026, the Eurovignette will definitely stop for the Netherlands. The Netherlands will switch to a kilometre-based vehicle tax for heavy goods vehicles. The planned start date is 1 July 2026. Please check www.trucktol.nl for more information. As a result of this change, a Eurovignette will no longer be needed in the Netherlands after 30 June 2026.

In the other Eurovignette member states: Luxembourg and Sweden a Eurovignette is still needed for heavy goods vehicles.

If you have booked a Eurovignette with a validity after 30 June 2026 and you only drive in the Netherlands, you can submit a refund request.

Please note: New tariff structure

On 25-03-2025 the tariff structure based on CO2-emission classes for the Eurovignette came into effect. Please consult your national vehicle register or check your documentation from the vehicle manufacturer for the CO2-emission class in order to book a correct Eurovignette.

Registration and acceptance

You don't need to create an account before you can book a Eurovignette. The Eurovignette is stored electronically and there is no need to carry further paper documents with you. The Eurovignette is a road user charge. Heavy goods vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of minimum 12 tons have to buy the Eurovignette to use motorways and toll highways in the Eurovignette countries (Luxemburg, the Netherlands and Sweden). On order of the Eurovignette countries AGES is responsible for selling Eurovignettes. The Eurovignette is accepted in all Eurovignette countries. Therefore even if you travel through several Eurovignette countries, only one valid Eurovignette is needed.
